A Fleur de Lys Picnic Tablescape

A little outdoor Al Fresco picnic.  With a touch of France.  From the Paris Flea Market salad plates to the Fleur de Lys chargers and flatware.  A fun time for two!
If you click on the photo's they will enlarge for a more enhanced view.

The pewter flatware even has a fleur de lys (lily) design on the handle, which we associate with being French inspired.

Some Star Gazer lilies from Pier 1.  They look so real, don't you think?  Have you ever had the experience of getting the pollen from a lily on you or your clothing?   Most florist's remove the pollen in their arrangements.  I "stuck" my nose in an arrangement at a Disney Hotel and the pollen was front and center all day.  My nose was a beacon of yellow gold.  Loud and proud!

My deep pink goblet has the fleur de lys as well.  I bought them after Easter at Pottery Barn a few years ago.  I always planned to use them for  a Halloween table to match a tablecloth I had.  Something a little different for that holiday for sure.  PB probably had 100 or more left over and was closing them out at .99 cents each.  I thought that was an amazing price.  I just purchased 8, now I wish I had bought more.

The salad plate is called Paris Flea Market.  They come in a set of 4 and each plate has a different design.  They are melamine as well.  Great for indoors or out!

Sparkling pink lemonade.  Made in France and  purchased at Home Goods.  You never know what you will find at Home Goods.  We have 3 Home Goods within easy driving distance of my house.  There is a new Home Goods store opening in October, which will be about 10 minutes away.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my latest Blog Post.  I would love it if you left a comment below.

My kingdom for those dishes! I said this summer I wasn't going to buy dishes and concentrate on diy and gardening projects. You are making it hard on this dish fanatic sister! Love this table...

What a pretty table! I love those pink goblets! Don't we often look back and wish we'd taken better advantage of a sale like that? I wish there was a PB or a Home Goods store close to me, I do enjoy visiting them when I get a chance.
