May Day Tablescape
Hoping you will have a most glorious May. When I was young and in Elementary school we always made a May Basket to take home.
We would make a cone shape out of paper and line it with wax paper and paper towel to keep the flower stems moist. Sometimes we would decorate a soup can and punch a couple of holes and use a pipe cleaner handle
We were told to secretly hang it on someone's door and run away, so it would be a secret. Some of us hung it on a secret admirer's door or on our own home.
My tablescape today is full of flowers. Some Tussie Mussie's. A terrarium with flowers and an adorable jeweled bird and some floral & bird plates. The ribbons hanging from the chandelier make me think of May Pole ribbons.
If you click on the photo it will enlarge for a better view.

My bird done in fabric French script. Loaded with rhinestone bling and a bling crown. I found this at my favorite Drug store's summer sidewalk sale.
My cute little individual bird butter keepers.
I collect Tussie Mussie holders. I have used 4 different styles for this tablescape.
I will be posting this tablescape on Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
I'm participating in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch.
