                 Years of memories in these Valentine Candy Boxes  

Every year for Valentine's Day my husband has given me chocolates.  I love saving the gorgeous boxes as a momento.  My centerpiece includes some of the boxes.  We have been married for a long time, since I was still a teen.  No way could I include all the boxes as I would need several tables (just kind of kidding).  As we sit and see the Valentine candy boxes it brings to our minds some wonderful memories and reminds us to love one another all over again.

Done in shades of pink with cream accents, my tablescape has a Parisian theme with the little Eiffel tower desert plates surrounded by soft pinks and red hearts.

Mardi Gras Golden Tablescape 2016

Celebrating Mardi Gras which in French means Fat Tuesday.  Masquerades, dancing, and merry-making are all part of the Carnival season.

     

The Night Before Christmas in Paris

La Nuit Avant Noel a Paris...

The story of my little vignette tablscape is inspired by this charming little book, "The Night Before Christmas in Paris".  A charming tale of Santa and Mrs. Claus.  How much he loves her and appreciates her.   She has left a week before Christmas to experience Paris and is having great fun.  He goes in search of her and the love they share is made anew.  A charming story.
