Je T'aime Valentine Tablescape

Je T'aime.  I Love You....

Tablescape for two.  My husband and I will be sitting down to this table.

The colors are a little non-traditional for Valentine's Day.  I wanted to change it up a bit.

If you click on the photo it will enlarge for a closeup!

At the time of this Tablescape I had only one white Je T'aime plate so I used a lavender Baci (meaning "kisses") plate for the second place-setting.  Even though the shades of lavender vary, I love them all, as lavender is my favorite color!

I can't believe how the corners of the lavender and white dinner plates and charger plates have the same corner design flourish!  From two totally different companies.  Horchow and Pier One.  See below for sources.

I really love the white milk glass fishbowl base from Martha Stewart.  You can't get them anymore.  I wish I had her clear fishbowl vase as well.  Occasionally  you can find one on Ebay, but they go for top dollar so I won't be getting one anytime soon.

Napkins are double layered.  A lavender linen with a white sheer organza over top.  I used some stretch pearl bracelets from Silpada Designs for the napkin rings.  You really can use anything.  Only limited by your imagination!

I made some almond coconut flavor cookies for the photo and will serve them after dinner.  I had to hurry and remove them after the photo so our dear dog wouldn't get to them.  And pick up the Hershey Kisses scattered across the table!

Sources for some of the items, Charger plate, Pier One.  Lavendar dinner plate, Horchow, via an outlet, via Ebay.  Silver-plate flatware, Yamazaki Cache.  Centerpieces, things I had on hand.  The fishbowl vase is from the discontinued, Martha by Mail Catalog. Heart plates, matching mugs, and Lavender linen napkins, Williams Sonoma.   Purple goblets sold at Easter time, at my local Smith's Marketplace Grocery Store (Kroeger store).  Napkin rings are pearl bracelets from Silpada (they are stretchy).  Amethyst colored lace scarf overlay is actually a Euro Sham from my Master bedroom.

I'm participating in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch.  Sharing with Celebrate Your Story
